Taeyang of five-member
boy group BIG BANG (G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung, and Seungri) will release
a new solo album in early September this year. This will mark his comeback as a
solo artist after almost three years.
BIG BANG’s management agency, YG Entertainment (YG),
posted the news of Taeyang’s solo album on the official YG blog on June 28, 4:00
p.m. The post was written by Yang Hyun-suk himself.
Yang Hyun-suk wrote that
“there are plans to release Taeyang’s official second album in early September.”
He also mentioned that it has been three years since Taeyang released his first
solo album. Taeyang’s fans will be able to listen to his new songs this
September.
Taeyang released his
first solo album “Solar” in July 2010. The R&B dance track “I Need a Girl”
became a big hit and rewarded Taeyang with both popularity and recognition as a
solo singer. Since then, fans have been waiting for his new solo
album.
Taeyang has been working
on his new album with Korean and international musicians for a long time. Both
the media and the fans are looking forward to the surprises he will bring with
his new album.
