It’s taken ZE:A 2 years
and 5 months. But finally, they are coming back with all 9 members. Black and
white photos of the group were released on July 23 to signal their comeback. The
photos show all nine members of ZE:A, including Moon Jun-young who had to spend
a long time away from the group due to injuries. The album, titled “Illusion,”
will be released on August 9.
Their new style is
classic, which is just the right look for their title track “Ghost of the Wind,”
a house number with a classical undertone created by a 14-member orchestra and
tenor voice. The song is a lyrical interpretation of two mysterious figures,
Phantom and Lupin. The comeback has a special meaning for ZE:A. For a long time,
ZE:A worked as an 8-member group or in units ZE:A-Five and ZE:A-4U. The members
appeared in a range of genres, from entertainment shows to movies and dramas to
musicals. It is the first time in 2 years and 5 months that they will be
appearing with all 9 original members.
ZE:A has already shown
that they can handle two opposite images—the cute, bright image of “Aftermath”
and powerful, masculine image of “Phoenix.” Now they are set to take on the
K-pop scene in a way that only the 9-member ZE:A can.
